Job Title

As a skilled healthcare professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating theatre suite.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our patients. Reporting to the Clinical Director, you will be responsible for facilitating a learning culture that drives continuous improvement, maintaining professional relationships with VMO partners, and providing clinical operational direction to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate a learning culture to promote continuous improvement
  • Maintain constructive working relationships with VMO partners using a customer service mindset
  • Provide clinical operational direction for efficient management by coordinating evidence-based nursing care
  • Ensure effective daily management of human, financial, and material resources
  • Coordinate and drive clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
  • Undertake direct patient care as required
  • Mentor staff

Requirements:

  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • Working with Children's check
  • Previous ANUM or clinical nurse specialist experience (desirable)
  • Experience in Scrub Scout/Robotics specifically
  • Sound clinical knowledge
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Customer service focus, time management, and prioritisation
