Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to undertake and prepare detailed reports relating to domestic and commercial sites.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting and diagnosing the cause of building damage whether from design fault, defective building work or maintenance related issues.

You will also be preparing detailed Building Reports with diagnosis and remedial recommendations, liaising and communicating with clients in a timely and professional manner, managing multiple project files and accounting for your time on each project.

Furthermore, you will be working as part of a professional interactive consultancy team but also being able to work in an independent and self-directed manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and diagnose the cause of building damage
  • Prepare detailed Building Reports
  • Liaise with clients in a timely and professional manner
  • Manage multiple project files and account for your time on each project
  • Work independently and as part of a team
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in insurance assessment or building practices
  • Current involvement in the building/construction industries
  • Demonstrated experience in residential building practices
  • Understanding of building knowledge from both a practical and/or compliance perspective
  • Qualification as a builder by trade
