Water Servicing Coordinator Role

We are seeking an experienced Water Servicing professional to join our team in Wollongong, New South Wales. As a key member of our Utilities and lead team, you will work on major Sydney Water developer works projects, designing infrastructure for transport and community development initiatives.

Our approach covers master planned communities, mixed-use developments, parks, recreation facilities, and streetscapes. We activate urban downtowns, suburban centers, small towns, and rural areas, connecting them through multimodal corridors.

You will have opportunities to gain more responsibility and ownership/autonomy over your work, with senior staff providing hands-on guidance and support. Our culture prioritizes learning, personal development, and training, ensuring employees grow professionally and personally.

This role offers flexible work arrangements, allowing you to work from either Sydney or Wollongong. You will be responsible for:

  • Working with Sydney Waters Hydra and E-Developer system
  • Project management from application to project completion
  • Designing innovative solutions for clients and communities
  • Data analysis, interpretation, and assessment to achieve project goals
  • Design coordination and submission of proposals, meeting timeframes and budgets
  • Attending project/client meetings and engaging in community consultation
  • Undertaking field work and site inspections
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • At least two years' experience as a Water Servicing professional
  • A demonstrated design background
  • Previous experience in project management on Sydney Water projects
  • Strong understanding of Sydney Water policies and procedures
  • Experience with computing packages like AutoCAD, MS Excel, Word, and Project
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
