Job Overview

A leading trading firm seeks a Senior Engineering Team Lead to develop options pricing and risk calculation features.

As a team lead, you will manage highly skilled technologists while contributing to technical design and implementation.

This is a leadership role at the intersection of quantitative modeling, technology, and trading, where your work will be directly used by experienced traders across various markets and instruments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop low-latency trading applications for options pricing and risk management.
  • Manage and mentor a team of senior software engineers.
  • Partner with traders and quantitative researchers to deliver technical solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Implement quantitative models, pricing parameters, and risk calculations for exchange-traded option products.
  • Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation and deployment.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in Financial Markets Technology, with a focus on derivatives and quantitative model integration.
  • Strong C# and Python development expertise, including design, profiling, multi-threading, and performance optimization.
  • Deep understanding of quantitative pricing models for options and derivatives products.
  • Proven experience as a technical or team lead, managing senior-level engineers.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with traders and Quants to deliver impactful solutions.
