We are seeking an experienced Golf Course Superintendent to lead our course maintenance team. Reporting to the General Manager, this is a hands-on leadership role that combines operational planning with strategic input.
Job Description:- Deliver turf management, landscaping, irrigation and equipment programs on time and within budget.
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Plan and deliver an annual works program, balancing day-to-day maintenance with annual rounds of 60,000+.
- Recognised qualification in turf management, with at least 5 years' experience as a Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.
- Demonstrated track record of managing a top-level golf course to consistently high standards.
- Strong knowledge of agronomy, turf management and commercial irrigation systems.
- Effective leadership with ability to motivate and manage a team.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Managing irrigation systems and implementing sustainable water usage strategies.
- Overseeing equipment servicing, maintenance and safe operation of course machinery.
- Collaborating with suppliers, stakeholders and Club departments to ensure seamless operations and event delivery.
