Religious Education Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Religious Education teacher to enrich the learning of our students on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Successful Candidate
  • Must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the teaching of Religious Education to secondary students, Years 7-12.
  • Accreditation to teach Religious Education within Catholic Schools is essential.
  • Should understand how to differentiate learning to cater for students' needs and maximise student learning.
  • Have a sound understanding of learning environments, lesson plans, use of technology, teaching practices and delivery of assessment and learning feedback.
  • Be able to motivate students to achieve and develop a life-long love of learning.
Essential Qualifications and Accreditations:
  • Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority.
  • Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree or 75% complete).
  • Valid Working with Children Check (for employment purposes).
