We're seeking an experienced Vehicle Restorer to join our team at a dynamic smash repair facility. As a Body Builder, you'll play a crucial role in restoring heavy vehicle exteriors to their original condition.
About the Role- Assess vehicle damage and determine the necessary repair work based on Job Sheets.
- Fabricate, replicate, and repair bodies of trailers, trucks, and fridges to meet quality standards.
- Perform high-standard welding services on repaired vehicles.
- Advise Parts Interpreters on additional parts required beyond initial estimates.
- Collaborate with workshop colleagues to optimize workflow and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Notify management of product shortages that may hinder production.
- Daily review schedules to guarantee adherence to deadlines.
- Treat company equipment with the same respect as personal tools.
- Bus body repair experience is essential.
- Trade qualifications are mandatory.
- Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and decision-making skills.
- Mechanical knowledge to support tool usage and maintenance.
