Centre Cook Role Overview

The Centre Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking meals that cater to the dietary needs of children. This role requires a skilled individual who can plan, prepare, and manage food inventory effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare healthy meals that meet the dietary requirements of children
  • Maintain accurate records of food inventory and ordering
  • Ensure all food storage, handling, and preparation meet food safety guidelines
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience in a childcare setting
  • Current QLD Working with Children Check
