Job Title: Adventure Intervention Officer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to fill the role of Adventure Intervention Officer, responsible for delivering adventure-based learning programs in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To design, facilitate, risk manage and evaluate adventure-based learning programs that cater to diverse client groups.
  • To work collaboratively with other professionals to develop and implement program content and activities.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports as required by management and relevant authorities.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation or equivalent is highly regarded but not mandatory.
  • Certificate IV in Work Place Training and Assessment is essential.
  • Current instructor level accreditation in two outdoor activities is an advantage.
  • Two years experience in the human service industry is preferred.
Essential Requirements:
  • Possession of an Australian driver's license is required.
  • The ability to demonstrate experience in an area involving youth, small group work leading to behavioural change, personal development and/or therapeutic change.
