Administrative Support Role

As an Administration Officer on a casual basis based in Southport, you will be part of a highly connected and skilled team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.

Our team is the backbone of our organization, shaping our impact and driving our success. As a champion of patient care, you will:

  • Effectively manage patients' arrivals and coordinate wait room functions for both medical practice and day hospital as needed
  • Provide a warm and professional welcome to patients and visitors at reception
  • Answer our Reception switchboard and direct calls to various departments with efficiency and courtesy
  • Ensure patients' details are accurately checked and updated on a regular basis
  • Discuss costs and payment arrangements with patients upon arrival
  • Facilitate patient admission and discharge procedures, including paperwork
  • Organize, retrieve, and distribute medical records for inpatient hospital admissions and appointments
  • Maintain accurate records registers and ensure compliance with auditing requirements
  • Prepare new treatment plans and charts for clinics
