Job Title: Associate, Funding and Liquidity Management

This is a highly skilled role that involves managing funding within the region to ensure effective liquidity.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, with a focus on cash and liquidity management, position keeping, and settlement procedures. They should also possess local knowledge of regulatory rules and regulations as well as relevant KYC/AML requirements related to Treasury.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Compliance - The candidate must be able to ensure compliance with local statutory liquidity regulations across the region to maintain a comprehensive Treasury risk management framework.
  • Liquidity and Cash Management - The individual must deliver effective liquidity, funding, and cash management, ensuring the company's financial stability.
  • Reporting and Analysis - The successful candidate must prepare liquidity reporting and management information packs to aid decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Investment/Commercial Banking Background - A minimum of 2 years' experience in investment/commercial banking, with knowledge of cash and liquidity management, position keeping, and settlement procedures.
  • Local Knowledge and Regulations - Demonstrated local knowledge of regulatory rules and regulations as well as relevant KYC/AML requirements related to Treasury.
  • Strong Technical Skills - Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with VBA skills preferred. Additionally, knowledge of investment products is essential.
  • Numerate and Accurate - The ability to work numerically, accurately, and under pressure to tight deadlines is crucial for this role.
  • Self-Motivated - Self-motivation and the ability to take initiative are vital for success in this position, which requires limited supervision.
