Operations Management Role

We are seeking a dedicated professional to manage our Defence sites in Wagga Wagga. The ideal candidate will bring a can-do attitude, safety focus, passion for quality, and exceptional service skills to this rewarding role.

The Job Summary:

  • Oversee front-of-house and back-of-house teams in a fast-paced, complex site, ensuring smooth daily operations and high service standards.
  • Manage resources, control costs, and drive revenue while optimising the operation.
  • Train, mentor, and manage team performance, fostering a strong, adaptable team in a high demand setting.
  • Deliver exceptional service, handle challenges, and continuously improve service flow across multiple service areas.
  • Ensure all operations meet strict food safety, HACCP, and compliance standards in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to safety and service excellence, ensuring a healthy work environment while delivering outstanding service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to motivate teams and drive performance to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Implement financial controls, including budgeting, reporting, and quality management systems to optimise operations.
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop initiatives to enhance efficiency, service, and overall experience.
  • Approach challenges with adaptability and a solutions-focused mindset, driving continuous improvement across the organisation.
