This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity to lead the development of our Engagement Strategy, including overseeing the Voice Engagement Survey and creating plans to address key challenges. You'll work closely with our Marketing and Communications team to effectively articulate our values, vision, and purpose, and foster an environment where our workforce reflects the communities we serve.

We're looking for an experienced HR Business Partner with a strong passion for engagement and diversity. You'll design and implement employee listening strategies that drive engagement, collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive change, and analyze data to identify gaps and opportunities.

About the Role

As the HR Business Partner for Employee Engagement and Belonging, you'll be responsible for leading the development of our Probe Group Engagement strategy, including overseeing the Voice Engagement Survey and creating plans to address key challenges. You'll also lead internal communication strategies for the PX function, collaborating with the Marketing and Communications team to effectively articulate Probe Group's values, vision, and purpose.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of the Probe Group Engagement strategy, including overseeing the Voice Engagement Survey and creating plans to address key challenges.
  • Develop and implement strategies for engagement, diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
  • Establish and manage the DI&A Council to consult with the business on key initiatives.
  • Partner with HS&W to support mental health and wellbeing initiatives for our people.
  • Consult with Legal and People Operations teams to enhance policies that advance the DI&A agenda.
  • Drive ESG objectives and ensure alignment with organisational goals.
  • Lead internal communication strategies for the PX function, collaborating with the Marketing and Communications team to effectively articulate Probe Group's values, vision, and purpose.
  • Analyse data from WGEA and other reports to identify and address key gaps.

About You

You are an experienced HR Business Partner with a proven ability to design and implement employee listening strategies that drive engagement. Your analytical skills help you identify gaps and opportunities, and you excel in collaborative environments.

Key Skills and Attributes Required:

  • Engagement Strategy Expertise: Proven experience in developing and delivering engagement, diversity, and inclusion strategies.
  • Internal Communication: Experience shaping and executing communication strategies aligning with company values and enhancing employee engagement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong ability to work effectively with teams across multiple functions such as Health, Safety, Wellbeing, ESG, and Legal.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Skilled in analysing workforce and engagement data to identify gaps and drive improvements.
  • Leadership & Influence: Ability to lead, influence, and manage stakeholders to drive change and foster a culture of belonging.
  • Wellbeing & Mental Health Knowledge: Solid understanding of mental health and wellbeing programs and their importance in a workplace environment.
  • Organisational Change: Experience in leading initiatives to influence positive cultural change across large teams or organisations.
  • Educational Background: Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
