Senior Financial Director Position

Job Title: Senior Financial Director

Our business is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Director to lead our finance team and drive commercial success.

  • Lead the finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business goals.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
  • Support on tendering and pricing decisions and ensure commerciality of contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements in partnership with external partners.
  • Manage cash flow and oversee capital expenditure planning.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimise financial performance.
  • Drive process improvements and implement financial best practices.

The Successful Applicant:

  • Hold a recognised accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CA, or equivalent).
  • Have proven experience in accounting and finance leadership roles, ideally with a previous reporting line to business/operations leadership.
  • Have strong knowledge of the industrial sector, with a preference towards industrial services and contracts.
  • Be able to manage and motivate a finance team.
  • Have exceptional analytical skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Have advanced proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools, with exposure to ERP implementations a plus.
  • Have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
