About the Role

Hype DC is a premium sneaker retailer with a strong presence in Australia. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering the brand vision and establishing a high-performance culture within your store.

You will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our customers, achieving operational excellence, and working collaboratively with your Area Manager to drive sales growth and personal career development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a WORLD CLASS team and create a MAGICAL VIBE within your store
  • Run a multimillion-dollar store, driving financial sales goals and metrics
  • Deliver on the brand vision and strategy, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Create a people-first culture and environment, empowering and developing talent within your team
  • Provide coaching, support, and feedback to drive results
  • Recruit, select, and onboard new team members within your store
  • Deliver a seamless omni-channel experience to our customers, preparing online orders in-store
  • Ensure your store stands out as best-in-class through Visual Merchandising excellence
  • Ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for our customers and team
Requirements
  • Be a team player with a passion for excellence in Sales, Operations, and Loss Prevention
  • Have experience and a genuine passion for delivering best-in-class memorable experiences
  • Be a coach who can motivate, inspire, and level up a large team of brand ambassadors
  • Retail Store Manager experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Be a motivated and driven individual with a 'Make it Happen' attitude
  • The ability to think strategically, identify missed opportunities, and drive sales and KPIs
  • Experience in effectively managing rosters and achieving wage control
