The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate to join our highly-regarded Projects team in Perth. Working closely with award-winning and leading Partner David Hugo as well as a team of exceptional specialists in their field, you will be acting for government and private sector clients, with a strong pipeline of development, outsourcing and transactional matters for major infrastructure projects.

This role will play a key role in managing and building the client portfolio providing you with the opportunity to work on a range of work from hospital, port and rail projects to linear infrastructure developments and large-scale commercial acquisitions. You will also be supporting the development of junior solicitors in the team.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrable experience in assisting a range of clients on infrastructure, energy or resource projects from a leading national or international private practice firm or in-house environment;
  • An excellent academic record, coupled with a strong legal skills and a practical mindset;
  • A proactive approach and desire to be an integral member of our leading and supportive team;
  • An ability to work to tight timeframes, both collaboratively and at times autonomously;
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to demonstrate collegiality within a team;
  • A hunger to learn and develop, and be part of a market-leading practice.
