Orthotic Solutions Specialist

An exciting opportunity exists to join our multidisciplinary team as an Orthotic Solutions Specialist. In this role, you will work with adults and children with disability to assess, measure, fabricate, and provide orthotic solutions tailored to their specific needs.

You will be responsible for providing comprehensive orthotic services in line with various funding body requirements, such as NDIS and Enable NSW. This includes the fabrication of orthoses using traditional and/or digital methodologies, as well as the provision of centre-based and community-based services where appropriate.

As a key member of our Allied Health team, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and their support networks, to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and measurement of patients to determine their orthotic needs
  • Fabrication of custom-made orthoses using traditional and/or digital methodologies
  • Provision of orthotic services in line with funding body requirements
  • Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to deliver patient-centred care
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Orthotics and Prosthetics
  • Current registration with The Australian Orthotic Prosthetic Association (AOPA)
  • Experience working as a clinician within the disability sector
  • Knowledge of strengths-based practice and family/person-centred approaches
