Job Description

Role Overview

Acciona S.A. is seeking a highly skilled Drainage Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering exceptional results through accurate estimates, meticulous analysis, and insightful reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver drainage systems for various infrastructure projects
  • Analyze specifications, plans, and related technical data to determine time, cost, and labor requirements for projects
  • Participate in detailed design teams to ensure estimates are relevant to scopes of work, stakeholders' expectations, and are cost-effective
  • Manage the preparation of estimates, designs, and tenders, following company procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success

Requirements:

  • Proficient in computer and IT proprietary systems such as MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of specific hydraulic software such as 12d Drainage, HY 8, Tu FLOW, HEC-RAS, DRAINS is highly valued
  • Appreciation for temporary works design, showcasing ability to design and optimize temporary works effectively
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
