About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at Royal Haskoning DHV. As a key member of our Rivers and Water Management team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-profile maritime engineering projects in Australia and the Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical direction and supervision to junior staff in flooding and drainage modelling and engineering assignments.
  • Develop local technical systems and standards.
  • Lead contract negotiations with clients to generate work for yourself and others.
  • Prepare commercial, technical and financial proposals to undertake Flood and Stormwater Modelling and Design projects.
  • Conduct investigations, studies, analyses, concept design and documentation, and recommend actions.
Requirements
  • Highly effective technical and practical scientific and engineering skills in the relevant disciplines.
  • Experience in and have recently completed Flood Impact Assessments, Drainage system analysis and design.
  • Provide direction and advice on technical matters, teach, mentor others in the team.
  • Able to consistently deliver quality, accurate, and timely work.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
