About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Raytheon Australia.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for partnering with Program Leadership to enable effective outcomes and facilitating risk assessments, chemical assessments, and management system reporting.

You will also be responsible for partnering with Operations to respond to EHS Reports, facilitating incident investigations, and ensuring effective return to work for team members where required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitating risk assessments and chemical assessments
  • Management system reporting and system updates
  • Partnering with Operations to respond to EHS Reports
  • Incident investigation and facilitating CCC arrangements
  • Partnering with HR and Leaders to ensure effective return to work for team members

Requirements

  • Relevant Diploma or Degree
  • ICAM investigation training or similar
  • Experience with OFSC highly regarded
  • Experience working in a high-risk / industrial / remote environment highly regarded
  • Experience with the principles of Human and Organisational Performance (or the ability to acquire)
  • Experience with Critical Risk Management Programs or equivalent (or the ability to acquire)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Defence clearance (NV1) and DCAC
