Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop weekly programs in consultation with children, team members & families.
  • Maintain administration, programming, child developmental records and curriculum as required.
  • Assist in observing and evaluating children's programs and individual development.
  • Implement daily routines and ensure adequate supervision.
  • Interact positively with children, giving each child individual attention as needed.
  • Form comforting relationships with children and maintain a safe, healthy and welcoming environment.
  • Work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in childcare and working with children aged 0-5 years.
  • A current Working with Children's Check.
  • A current First Aid and CPR qualification (including Anaphylaxis and Asthma).
  • A current qualification in Identifying and responding to Children and Young People at Risk (CHCPRT001).
