At Industrial Light & Magic, we're seeking a skilled Visual Effects Artist to join our team as a Senior Compositor.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects and collaborate with talented artists and technicians. As a Senior Compositor, you will be responsible for combining live-action and computer-generated elements into visually stunning effects shots that bring our clients' visions to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate approaches for assigned shots and create high-quality composite images
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless integration of visual effects into live-action footage
  • Mentor and guide junior artists to develop their skills and expertise
  • Meet defined milestones within project timelines
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A strong fine arts foundation, including photography and lighting skills
  • An exceptional sense of composition, color, and design
  • Experience working with compositing software, preferably Nuke
  • Proficiency in Python or C++ programming languages (a plus)
  • Ability to write custom Nuke gizmos (a plus)
