Lighting Supervisor

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee our lighting operations.

This key role will lead and manage a team of lighting specialists, responsible for delivering high-quality results on time.

  • Supervise a group of lighting artists, ensuring all projects meet the required standards.
  • Collaborate with the R&D department to identify new tools and technologies that enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Delegate tasks and provide guidance to junior team members, maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Oversee quality control processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress.
  • Develop and maintain consistent shot quality, driving creative excellence throughout the organization.

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of production experience, including 2 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Thorough understanding of CG rendering, compositing techniques, and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and technical skills, with proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with expertise in shading, lighting, and rendering terminology.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard software, including PRMan or similar production renderers and node-based compositing tools.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and MEL is an advantage.
