Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Specialist

The position of Heavy Vehicle Mechanic involves performing routine maintenance and repairs on a diverse range of heavy military vehicles.
This includes 4WDs, trucks, tracked and armoured vehicles, infantry personnel carriers, and even armoured tanks.
- Maintenance tasks include inspection, classification, diagnostics, and repairs on Light, Medium, and Heavy Vehicles and Plant Equipment.
- Completing service tasks on equipment during routine maintenance.
- Replacing or repairing damaged and malfunctioning parts following inspections and effectively diagnosing problems and performing work of a technical nature on a wide range of vehicles.
A suitable candidate will possess a Cert III Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or equivalent level qualification and demonstrated experience on Heavy commercial vehicles.
In addition to the necessary qualifications, the ideal candidate must also be an Australian citizen and able to maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
