Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Role

Maintenance of heavy military vehicles plays a critical role in the Australian Defence Force's operations. This position involves performing various tasks including inspection, diagnostics, and repairs on Light, Medium, and Heavy Vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is functioning optimally.
  • Replace or repair damaged parts following inspections and effectively diagnose problems to perform work of a technical nature.
Requirements
  • Certification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or equivalent level is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience on Heavy commercial vehicles is essential.
  • Able to inspect, repair, and maintain vehicles at a medium level of repair.
