The Parenting Assessment and Skills Development Service (PASDS) Program provides parenting capacity assessments for vulnerable families with infants under the age of 3 years, who are involved with Child Protection. The service aims to support these families by providing them with the necessary skills and resources to promote positive parenting practices.
Key Responsibilities- Provide intensive case management and innovative outreach support
- Undertake in-home assessments
- Develop creative interventions tailored to the family's level of skill, learning style and areas of concern
- Prepare high-quality reports for Child Protection and Courts
Working as a Senior Case Worker will provide you with opportunities to develop your skills and expertise in the field of child protection and social work. RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to meet the person specification outlined in the position description and hold a relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Child Development/Community Welfare or an equivalent field.
