Job Title: Industrial Painter Blaster
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled painter to join our workshop. As an industrial painter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the durability and protection of our mining technologies.
The ideal candidate will have experience with surface preparation, paint application, and blasting techniques. You will be responsible for reviewing painting specifications and complying with required standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform surface preparation on steel or hard composition objects.
- Apply paint or similar coatings using spraying or brushing techniques.
- Blast to profile tolerances and specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of painting thickness.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate in Industrial Painting or Blasting.
- Valid Driver's Licence.
- Work at Heights & Confined Space Tickets.
- Dogging/Rigging certification (preferred).
- Forklift Ticket (preferred).
- Physical fitness for manual labour.
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening.
