Supporting the well-being of young people is at the heart of this role.

The Youth Outreach Recovery Support (YORS) program provides essential services to individuals aged 16-25 who are struggling with mental health issues across various locations.

This part-time position involves working primarily in Essendon North, with occasional requirements to work from other sites.

A key responsibility will be to engage with young people, fostering trusting relationships and providing recovery-oriented services through the Collaborative Recovery Model (CRM) and coaching principles.

Individuals with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality support and a passion for empowering young people are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with young people
  • Deliver recovery-focused services using CRM and coaching approaches
  • Provide tailored support for independent living skills, recreation, and social/community activities
  • Pursue ongoing professional development to enhance knowledge and skills
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in fields related to mental health, youth, or health
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting young people with complex needs
  • Strong alignment with cohealth's values and mission
