About the roleThe Youth Outreach Recovery Support (YORS) program supports young people aged 16-25 who have a diagnosed mental illness across Essendon, Reservoir, St Albans, Werribee and Footscray.
This position is primarily located in 75 Bulla Road Essendon North however you may be required to work from other sites.

Responsibilities- Engage with young people and develop trusting and professional relationships
- Provide recovery-oriented services to young people through the Collaborative Recovery Model (CRM) Recovery Star and coaching principles
- Provide group and individual support to young people with regards to independent living skills, recreation and social / community skills
- Maintain knowledge, skills, qualifications and accreditations through participation in professional development activities

All appointments are made subject to a satisfactory Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC), a Working With Children Check (WWCC), complete a Pre-Employment Declaration Form, evidence of legal rights to work in Australia, and evidence of vaccination.
Successful applicants will be required to provide evidence of immunisation assessment including Influenza within 12 weeks of commencement. This is in accordance with the Victorian Minister of Health Mandatory Vaccination Orders and legislated requirement for influenza vaccination.
