Job Overview

This role is part of the Australian and New Zealand team, and will drive business growth across both markets by combining technical refrigeration expertise with strong commercial acumen. This position will require managing customer relationships, understanding regional needs, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.

  • Building and Maintaining Customer Relationships Across ANZ
  • Maintain key accounts with contractors, wholesalers, OEMs, supermarkets, and cold storage operators in the region.
  • Understand regional needs and tailor solutions accordingly, such as adapting to Australia's climate zones or New Zealand's regulatory preferences.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through regular engagement.
  • New Business Development
  • Identify and approach new customers or market segments, leveraging industry networks and trade shows to generate leads.
  • Understand local market trends, such as natural refrigerants (CO2, R290) and green building initiatives.
  • Tailored Solutions and Technical Support
  • Prepare and present technical solutions, including equipment sizing and product specifications.
  • Provide accurate quotations, negotiate pricing, and manage commercial terms in line with local compliance and logistics.
  • Stay informed on refrigeration standards and codes specific to Australia (e.g. AS/NZS 5149).
  • Sales Performance and Market Intelligence
  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline health, and competitor activity across both countries.
  • Submit accurate monthly forecasts and reports to leadership.
  • Track government policies or sustainability regulations (e.g. HFC phase-down under the Kigali Amendment, energy efficiency programs).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Liaise with supply chain, customer service, and technical support teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and after-sales support.
  • Coordinate with marketing to tailor product promotions and campaigns for local needs.
