Job Title: Multi Skilled Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Operator to join our team. As a key member of our Infrastructure & Field Services Department, you will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of vehicles, plant, machinery, and their associated tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and operation of vehicles, including trucks, tractors, and loaders
  • Routine maintenance checks with regard to safe legal operation, fluid levels, and lubrication points
  • Manual tasks in the execution of duties required for the construction and maintenance of roads, drains, footpaths, and kerb water tables
  • Prestart checks on all plant and equipment
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Assembly and maintenance of road and traffic signage
  • Traffic management responsibilities, including the creation of plans and staffing of work points
  • Maintenance and cleaning duties for depot and Council facilities
  • Providing relief operation of any maintenance vehicles under the relevant Award range
Requirements:
  • A heavy combination truck (HC) licence
  • A grader (LG) licence or willingness to obtain
  • A loader (LL) licence
  • A construction white card
  • Workzone traffic management accreditation
  • A first aid certificate
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Certificate 3 in Civil Construction
  • Skid Steer (LS) licence
  • Elevated Work Platform (High Risk WP) licence
  • Manual handling
  • Chain of Responsibility (COR)
