Job Overview

As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for operating heavy plant and equipment on a large-scale excavation project.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a significant project with a contractor's excavation team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate excavators and other machinery to complete bulk earthworks, detailed excavation, and trenching works.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards, site safety procedures, and environmental controls.
  • Perform excavation works in close proximity to live services with care and precision.
  • Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, surveyors, and fellow operators.
  • Optimise machine use to meet project targets while minimising rework.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum 2 years' experience operating an excavator.
  • Construction Safety Induction (White) card.
  • Ideal candidate has worked on large sites with multiple excavators.
  • Strong financial analysis and administrative focus.
