Job Title:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academic Researcher in Ocean Dynamics to contribute to our research team.


About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking high-quality research of national and international standing, publishing research findings, and contributing to the supervision of students.


Key Responsibilities:

  • To make an effective and sustained contribution to our strategic objectives
  • Undertake research that has achieved national and international recognition as demonstrated by a record of quality publications and presentations
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of productive links with partners and collaborators nationally and internationally

Requirements:

  • A PhD or equivalent in a relevant area of science
  • Excellent understanding of ocean dynamics and the ocean's role in climate
  • High level quantitative skills

What We Offer:

Appointment to this role will be at Academic Level B and will have a total remuneration package of up to $133,842 comprising base salary within the range of $98,537 to $114,395 plus 17% superannuation
