About The Role

The University of Western Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Regional Training Hubs team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our Integrated Rural Training Pipeline (IRTP) program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior administrative support to the Regional Training Hub Lead and other team members
  • Work closely with staff on the IRTP program to develop plans and strategies to improve support for rurally intended students and junior doctors
  • Liaise with a range of staff, including academic staff, supervisors, and educators, to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other tools to support program delivery
  • Provide high-level administrative support, including prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and managing competing demands
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced administrative professional who can provide senior support to our team. To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency
  • Substantial relevant senior administrative experience at an appropriate level
  • Highly developed written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly developed organisational skills and ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in a range of computing skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet, and email
