As a sponsor coverage professional, you will play a pivotal role in the growth of our global corporate and investment banking (GCIB) team.

About the Role

This position is responsible for supporting the portfolio management of sponsor clients across Singapore and the broader Asia-Pacific region. You will work closely with senior team members to prepare pitch books, discussion materials, and other resources to facilitate thematic dialogue and origination of mergers and acquisitions financing mandates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with financial sponsors, including private equity, infrastructure, and real estate firms.
  • Support senior team members in structuring and executing financing transactions, including valuation analysis and peer analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sector coverage and liaison functions, to ensure effective coordination and communication.
Requirements
  • 2+ years' experience in a related field, preferably in debt transactions, client relationship management, or business development.
  • Undergraduate degree in a business-related field, such as finance, economics, or business administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
