About Work Safety Consultant

The primary focus of this role is to promote a culture of workplace safety across various business units.

  • This position involves developing strong partnerships with management and staff to enhance workplace safety performance.
  • It requires driving compliance with relevant legislation and organisational policies.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of work health and safety principles, excellent communication and coaching skills.

We are seeking a motivated individual who values diversity and integrity, committed to fostering a safety culture within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. To develop and implement effective WHS initiatives and compliance frameworks.
  2. To engage and coach staff and management on enhancing workplace safety performance.
  3. To play a key part in aligning operational objectives with safety compliance.
Requirements:
  • A degree qualification in a related field or substantial experience in a similar role with ongoing professional development.
  • WorkCover NSW Construction Induction Card.
  • Class C driver's licence.
  • Experience in work health and safety management within a diverse service industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to prepare reports and develop recommendations.
