About the Role

The Distressed Products Group (DPG) at 5180 Deutsche Group Services Pty Limited is a market leader in special situations, providing bespoke financing solutions across all credit products. We are seeking an experienced originator and risk manager to support growth within our Special Situations business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with DPG's Asia Pacific sourcing team and sales coverage teams to drive origination and identify new opportunities across the capital structure.
  • Develop new client and partner relationships, and be responsible for all aspects of due diligence, underwriting, and risk management of new and existing positions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in underwriting and executing transactions in structured finance, principal investment, or investment banking.
  • A deep understanding of credit and investment analysis, including the modeling of complex cashflows.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead deal teams across Asia Pacific.
