Job Title: STIR Trader

The STIR Trader role is an intermediate-level position within the Institutional Trading division at Citi. This position is responsible for supporting and building the FX Forwards franchise in G10 currencies in the Asia Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with a trading book and generate revenues while managing risk for the respective business.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Research, and other organizations across Markets and Securities Services to deliver trades to the desk.
  • Trade a book and deliver budgeted revenues while establishing key relationships to deliver trades to the desk.
  • Anticipate client demand in respective product/market and coordinate with desk analysts as needed.
  • Develop the franchise by working in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, and Finance.
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of respective products and clients.
  • Required licensing and registrations as applicable.
  • Exceptional analytical and numerical competency.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
