Job Description

The Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering person-centered care as part of a multidisciplinary team. This involves providing high-quality nursing care that prioritizes the needs and well-being of individuals, while also promoting effective collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver High-Quality Nursing Care: Provide person-centered care to individuals in collaboration with their family members and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Supervise and Support Clinicians: Offer guidance and support to less experienced nurses to help them achieve quality patient care outcomes.
  • Evidence-Based Practice: Apply critical thinking and evidence-based practice to advocate for and implement individualized person-centred care.
  • Prioritization and Organization: Effectively prioritize and organize workload to deliver care with integrity and accountability.

Requirements:

  • Registration: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
  • Demonstrated Competencies: Demonstrated competencies in and knowledge of the complexities and challenges involved in providing nursing care within a multidisciplinary setting.
  • Clinical Communication: Effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means, and sound interpersonal skills.
