Work as a Nurse in our Surgical Unit, caring for General, Colorectal, Urology, Gynae, Upper GI, Bariatrics and Neurosurgery patients. We are seeking skilled Registered Nurses to join our team at Wollongong Private Hospital.

">Job Description

Deliver high-quality patient care as a member of our dynamic Surgical Ward team. With diverse specialities including General, Colorectal, Urology, Gynae, Upper GI, Bariatrics and Neurosurgery, you will have ample opportunities to develop your skills and expertise.

Working closely with the Nurse Unit Manager, Department Manager, Clinical Nurse Educator, Team and Shift Leaders, you will contribute to achieving a high level of quality patient care within our Hospital's values and strategic direction.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum two (2) years acute nursing experience in a surgical specialty
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a supportive service
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a strong customer service focus
  • Demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patients
  • Exhibits exceptional customer service and time management abilities
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others
  • Ability to work a rotating roster

We offer an attractive remuneration package based on experience level and qualifications. This includes hourly rates between $37.75 and $53.02, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
