Job Opportunity

We have an exciting opening for a Maintenance and Operations Lead in our Sydney facility. In this key role, you will oversee the maintenance, safety, and operational performance of all equipment, vehicles, and facilities across the site.

This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical skills and experience in managing contractors and stakeholders. You will be responsible for ensuring all plant, equipment, machinery, vehicles, and facilities are inspected and maintained proactively to minimize service disruption.

You will also lead continuous improvement projects and programs of work, participate in planned training, and develop your skills in maintenance activities.

Due to the nature of this role, some weekend and after-hours work may be required.

About the Role
  • Manage and support safety and risk procedures for all plant, equipment, machinery, vehicles, and facilities.
  • Ensure all plant, equipment, machinery, vehicles, and facilities are inspected and maintained proactively.
  • Manage contractors and stakeholders for plant, equipment, machinery, vehicles, and facilities.
  • Lead, support, and participate in continuous improvement projects and programs of work.
  • Participate in planned training, including skill development for maintenance activities.
Requirements
  • A background in Mechanical/Electrical and/or maintenance and facilities management.
  • Strong technical understanding of basic mechanics for plant, equipment, machinery, vehicles, and facilities.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of contractor management and maintenance planning.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage expenses within budgets.
  • Knowledge of Warehouse manual handling equipment.
  • Organized, proactive, and self-driven with ability to perform handyman tasks.
  • A valid forklift license.
