Job Title: Support Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Support Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will provide targeted educational support for students with diverse learning needs, working closely with the Director of Learning Support and the LEAPS Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized educational support for students with diverse learning needs
  • Work collaboratively with parents, staff, and external professionals to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments and develop tailored support programs for students
  • Have high level communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be willing to get involved in all aspects of the College's programs and opportunities
Requirements:
  • Be a qualified teacher and hold a current registration with the relevant teaching authority
  • Have a strong understanding of special education needs and experience working with students with diverse learning profiles
  • Be experienced in writing and implementing IEPs and conducting assessments
  • Have current First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis Certificate or be willing to obtain these prior to commencement
  • Be able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education
