Position Overview

We are currently establishing a talent pool to address future ongoing and temporary roles within the Estate Management division. This initiative is aimed at enhancing our capacity to serve our clients effectively.

Compensation

The role is classified at Clerk Grade 3/4, offering a competitive base salary ranging from $79,032 to $86,539 per annum, in addition to superannuation and annual leave loading.

Team Dynamics

The Estate Management division is responsible for making financial and legal decisions for individuals who are unable to do so independently. Our team ensures high-quality financial management services through:

  • Customer Onboarding: Facilitating the seamless integration of new clients into our services.
  • Client Independence Support: Collaborating with clients to enhance their financial management skills and promote independence.
  • Private Financial Oversight: Supporting privately appointed financial managers in their responsibilities.
  • Complex Case Management: Engaging with clients on intricate estates and making informed financial decisions on their behalf.
Role Responsibilities

As a Client Service Officer, you will:

  • Develop strategies to manage client finances effectively.
  • Engage with clients to assess their financial needs and aspirations.
  • Facilitate third-party payments on behalf of clients.
  • Collaborate with various divisions and external stakeholders to ensure optimal outcomes.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A passion for supporting individuals with disabilities, vulnerable populations, or the elderly.
  • Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with diverse clients.
  • Strong collaborative abilities to foster productive working relationships.
Essential Qualifications
  • A solid understanding of the services provided by NSW Department of Communities and Justice.
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.
  • A willingness to have communications monitored for quality assurance and training purposes.
