About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Piping Designer to provide valued design project support. This role offers an opportunity to work in a team environment where you can thrive and develop your skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver piping design and drafting services that meet statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop 2D and 3D piping models and layouts.
  • Perform design and drafting assignments that meet project requirements on time.
  • Identify and report changes to project scope.
  • Prepare engineering drawings and documentation.
  • Check drawings and documents according to procedures and participate in project reviews as required.
  • Provide technical support and assistance within the Design Team and liaise with engineering teams.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Identify issues and problems, develop solutions, and ask for assistance when required.

About You

The successful applicant will have experience in oil & gas, especially those who have worked on both brownfield and greenfield projects. Mining experience may also be considered.

These are the skills and experiences you will have:

  • 2D AutoCAD and Plant 3D experience essential.
  • Minimum of 5 years design drafting experience – must be confident in working independently and in a team.
  • Associate Diploma in engineering or equivalent relevant qualification.
  • Strong knowledge industry design standards and practices.
