From 21 offices in 9 countries, with projects in over 80 locations worldwide, we create sustainable outcomes for our people, clients and communities.Our team is growing, and we are currently recruiting for a Senior Piping Designer to join our team in our Brisbane office.About the roleDeliver feasibility through detailed design of slurry pipelines, pumping stations, reagents and solution piping, and cross-country pipelines.Perform detailed checking of others' design work.Responsibility will vary according to project requirements.
May work independently, as a member of a team, or as a team leader.Ensure that objectives related to quality, quantity, cost, and scheduling are met.Present deliverable plans according to the established deadlines, develop the design and 3D routing according to the project's technical standards and specifications, review in detail their deliverable plans before submitting them to their supervisor.Maintain constant coordination with the designers and engineers of the project team.
Update and make compatible the deliverables that are affected by improvements or modifications in the design.
Verify interferences between pipeline, roads, and facilities.Archive and update project technical documents such as standards, vendor information, checklists, and history files.About youTechnical Design degree or equivalent.Detailed knowledge of piping systems, components, and hardware.Knowledge of ASME B16 and B31 standards.Experience in station piping design, including P&IDs, isometrics, layouts, detail drawings, and material take-offs.Knowledge of Plant 3D, Advance Steel, and S3D software is desirable.Minimum 8 years of experience, including development and creation of pipe drawings, multidisciplinary project experience, skills for development of pipe routing in 3D, and experience in developing pipe layouts and details.Experience in design within EPCM/EPC projects.Strong communication and coordination skills.Why Ausenco?
