Job Description

We seek an experienced Design Manager to drive design efficiency and deliver Value for Money outcomes on our transport, energy, and water projects.

  • Purposefully interpret the design brief and ensure its requirements are met by the design deliverables.
  • Prepare and manage design programs, procurement, and management of all design consultants.
  • Review consultant's budgets and contracts, monitoring changes to remain within budget.
  • Evaluate design packages for approval processes and suitability for construction use.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Civil), Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration as a Chartered Professional Engineer status (CPEng) is advantageous.
  • Previous history of working on government infrastructure projects across transport, energy, and water.
