Job Role Overview

The Information Governance Specialist is a pivotal role in driving organizational excellence by promoting best practices in information management and governance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To lead by example, fostering a culture that upholds the principles of information governance.
  • To provide expert-level support for EDRMS and FRS Helpdesk services, facilitating issue resolution and triage.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance operational efficiency and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • To develop and maintain comprehensive standard operating procedures (SOPs) and EDRMS Guides.
  • Offer guidance on records and information management best practices, ensuring adherence to established standards.
  • Facilitate administration and delivery of training programs related to EDRMS/RIM, creating tailored content as required.
  • Prepare overnight bags and external couriers, guaranteeing timely and secure document transportation.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and policy development for effective record and information management.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
