Senior Food Service Director

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to lead the service team at our Italian dining venue in Canberra Centre. With a focus on premium food, wine, and hospitality, this role involves shaping a destination where tradition meets innovation.

About the Role
- Lead daily front-of-house operations with confidence, professionalism, and warmth
- Recruit, train, and mentor a passionate restaurant team to deliver outstanding service
- Create a positive, performance-driven culture that values consistency and care
- Drive pre-service briefings, ongoing staff development, and service refinements
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen and leadership team to ensure seamless execution
- Report to the Venue Manager and contribute to the leadership team's success
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar restaurant management role within a high-volume, quality-driven environment
- A hands-on leader with energy, attention to detail, and a guest-first mindset
- Strong skills in staff training, development, and performance management
- Calm under pressure, proactive, and an excellent communicator
- Passionate about service and committed to creating memorable guest experiences
- Full working rights and valid RSA
