This Customer Service Director Defence role is a senior sales and relationship leadership position that will shape the strategic direction of Fujitsu's Defence and National Security portfolio across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring our capabilities align with sovereign priorities, the Defence Strategic Review and AUKUS commitments.
Ideally based in Canberra, the Director of Customer Service Defence will report to the Head of Industry for Defence and will be a proven sales leader with industry acumen and a strong Defence relationship network.
Experienced in engaging senior Defence leadership, you will lead Fujitsu's customer team for one of our large account engagements within the Australian Department of Defence, influencing strategic priorities and driving operational outcomes. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams operating at several Defence bases in Australia and support Defence personnel with their ICT requirements, you will drive the highest level of customer satisfaction and ensure above and beyond delivery of service.
Responsibilities- Lead and inspire the sales and customer relationship team across geographically dispersed sites for one of Fujitsu's largest account engagements within the Australian Department of Defence.
- Drive growth through winning and leading strategic capture and bid activities for major Defence programs.
- Work closely with our delivery team to ensure service performance meets contractual, operational and customer expectations.
- Identify future opportunities and needs within this Defence account, establishing Fujitsu at the forefront of innovation within the market.
- Partner with primes, SMEs and academia to enhance Fujitsu's role in the Defence ecosystem.
- Maintain and lead core activities within the customer account including performance reporting, monitoring of the contract and commercial arrangements, ensuring service delivery excellence and financial performance.
- Be a highly visible advocate for Fujitsu scale, capability and heritage in every engagement with industry and clients.
- 10+ years experience within leadership and management roles ideally within a Defence or Federal government organisation with a focus on customer and sales.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative working relationships with customers, suppliers and stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- NV1 Security Clearance.
- Previous experience working in Defence is highly desirable.
