Imagine yourself as a skilled and dedicated Chef, shaping the culinary experience for our guests at Eureka 89.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position where you will prepare and cook all dishes for our six and eight-course Chef's Tasting menu and event canapés. You will also maintain the highest standards of food quality and hygiene and develop expertise in your assigned specialty.
Culinary Expertise and Presentation- Develop expertise in assigned menu specialty, efficiently preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes while contributing to recipe development and menu planning.
- Ensure food is stored correctly with good stock rotation, maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety, and monitor stock levels to assist with ordering supplies and minimize waste.
- Manage and train Junior/Commis Chefs, sharing knowledge to enhance team performance and collaborate with Executive and Head Chef for smooth kitchen operations.
- Manage time effectively, work quickly under pressure, and remain open to taking on new tasks or adapting to different roles to support overall kitchen functionality.
